Abu Dhabi-listed petrochemicals company Borouge plans to build a 1.6 million ton per year polyolefins complex in China as part of a consortium that includes its owners Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) and Borealis, as the biggest chemicals producer in the United Arab Emirates vies to strengthen its market position in Asia.
